Hadar Maoz, a multi-talented and inspiring performer, singer, musician and player, electriies the audience with a musical journey into the world of Persian ,Bukharian and Central Asian Special music and singing.
Hadar brings a new musical row to the world by taking the music of Persian and Bukharian Jewish roots in central Asia and combines them with groove, blues, electronic element
Currently living in Israel, Hadar’s cultural roots began in persia Jewish tradition of Central Asia has existed for over 2,500 years. From her early youth, Hadar learned devotional singing, drumming and playing a style which has been passed through many generations of her musicians family and has been inluenced by the ancient oriental styles and scales Hadar plays many instruments including the tar, saz, dayereh, goblet drum, bass guitar and electronic guitar. Her dancing is inspired by the oriental styles of Central and Eastern Asia.
Hadar has performed in the last 13 years and has worked with wide range of artists and musicians. Hadar toured internationally with “Habrera-Hativeet”, one of Israel’s most original and unique groups of musician.
Her irst album “Brothers’ Tribe” came out in 2009. That album was a collaboration between Hadar and the international musician and oud player – Yoel Ben Simhon. The album is a journey into the world of the oriental love songs and that album included a wide tour. Hadar and Yoel produced and arranged all the songs together and she also played on most instrument.
In 2012, came out her second album “Roots’ Music” (a groove album in Hebrew) which included a collaboration with the soul singers “The Hebrew Sisters from Dimona” (HaKushim HaIvrim). Piloni, Nir Danan and Hadar, Produced the singles from that album.
Hadar has recently inished working on her third album, “Asian Soul” which is internationally published. This album is a un combination between the Persian and Bukharian music, which Hadar grew up on, and a modern groove. The album is being produced by Hadar and Nir Danan. Most of the musical instruments are played by Hadar who also made the music arrangements.
During the work on the album Hadar was invited to perform in Manhattan, New York with her new album and show that was very successful.
In the last period of the year and the half, 2017/18, the show “Asian Soul” gain a signiicant popularity in Israel and internationally and also was presented to the numerous music lovers at the international festivals:
